Library Mission, Faculty & Staff


Shaw-Leslie Library will be a premier 21st Century liberal arts college library. It will serve as a leader in the development and provision of resources and services and will incorporate the traditional and the contemporary in innovative ways to become a dynamic partner in the learning experience at the College, while advancing the institutional mission, values and vision.


The Shaw Leslie Library serves the educational community of Emmanuel College by supporting the information, curriculum, and professional needs of students, faculty, staff and other users of the college. The library strives to acquire and make accessible a well-balanced, current, collection of materials in a variety of formats to support the college’s instructional programs. The library also supports the overall mission of Emmanuel College and provides material to aid the students, faculty and staff in their personal and spiritual growth.


Library Administration is responsible for all aspects of the library, from day to day operations to long-term planning and implementation.

Our Library Assistant provides assistance at the circulation desk, catalogues new materials, and performs other day to day operations.
