Mathematics: Style Guides

This guide will help you locate print, journal and web resource for the undergraduate math courses at Emmanuel College.

Citation Makers

These citation makers will give you correctly formatted citations for APA, MLA, Chicago and Turabian styles.

EBSCO and ProQuest databases (in GALILEO) also provide citation formats for articles and books found there. Click on the citation tool displayed either at the top or the right of the screen and then scroll to the desired format.

Zotero Citation Software

Zotero (pronounced "zoh-TAIR-oh") is a Firefox addon that collects, manages, and cites research sources. It's easy to use, lives in your web browser where you do your work, and best of all it's free.

Zotero allows you to attach PDFs, notes and images to your citations, organize them into collections for different projects, and create bibliographies.

It automatically updates itself periodically to work with new online sources and new bibliographic styles

Zotero Guide at Georgia State University

Jason Puckett over at GSU created this excellent guide on using Zotero. In fact, it's so excellent that Zotero links to it in their "adopt" documentation.
