A service of the Massachusetts Association for Jazz Education, the Jazz History Database is an interactive jazz history multimedia Museum which digitizes and preserves materials collected "in the field" and are arranged by geographic location.

Good site on the history of jazz before 1930. Includes many audio clips and a table of artists and the instruments they played.
