Welcome to the Resource Guide for Pre-Law at Emmanuel University! Here you will find recommended resources for books and journals, and websites for Pre-Law taught in the EU Baccalaureate program. There are two writing style guides in use by the Pre-Law courses at EU, APA and Turabian. Information for these guides can be found here under "Style Guides."

Associations, Foundations and Societies

American Bar Association: Pre-Law
Discusses what is needed in preparing for law school. The ABA also has links to other subjects and resources associated with legal education.
Christian Legal Society
CLS is a membership organization of Christian attorneys, judges, paralegals, law students, and other legal professionals dedicated to serving Jesus Christ through the practice of law, defense of religious freedom, and provision of legal aid to the needy.
National Association for Law Placement
A nonprofit educational association established to meet the needs of all participants in the legal employment process.
National Federation of Paralegal Associations
NFPA has assisted the profession in addressing many issues associated with the growth and expanded role of the paralegal. Site includes information on education and employment within the field.
Southern Association of Pre-Law Advisers
An organization that brings together pre-law advisers and law school admissions staff in an effort to provide everyone in the law school admissions process with up-to-date information and expert guidance.
