The library is currently open for students, faculty and staff only. Updates as to when we will again be available to our community patrons will be posted here and on our Facebook page. We will be closed on Friday and Saturday during Fall Break.

Dear GALILEO Users,

We have moved to OpenAthens for logging into GALILEO! You should be able to now log in with your Emmanuel College credentials. If you created an account/folder in the past, you can merge that with the new format. Below are the directions for doing this. Please let me know if you have any problems accessing the databases in GALILEO, and let me know which database you are having problems with.

Ancestry Library Edition
GALILEO has coordinated with ProQuest to make the Ancestry Library Edition available outside the library until December 31, 2021. This is thanks to the advocacy of Georgia Public Library Service, Georgia’s public libraries and GALILEO. Go to Ancestry Library Edition and use the GALILEO password.

Project Muse
In response to the challenges created by the global public health crisis of COVID-19, Project MUSE is making scholarly content temporarily available for free on our platform. When you create your search, look to the left of the result list and click "Only content I have access to."
ProCon.org
Should marijuana be given to pets? Why is illegal immigration a problem? This site covers the pros and cons of many different issues. You can look at specific topics or see what is considered controversial by category. Similar to our print version of Opposing Viewpoints, different views are presented.
